Thanks to your great Crew!!- Hi Ted,
Yesterday, I came in for a second visit about the sneakers we had special ordered. A few years ago I was fitted in New Balance at Ted's and have since bought a couple of pairs from you. So we were just going to replace them with the same model. For some reason, the new version was causing me trouble.
I first talked to Jessie, who was great. She and I talked about options and we agreed I would just walk in the shoes for a bit and try to soften them up and then try running. They had the same problem and she had said if things don't improve, come back for help.
So yesterday, I came in and again I got great service and people worked with me to find a different shoe.
I use to be a member of RoadRunner Club because of their shoe return policy; just for this very reason....sometimes, they just don't work how you expect especially when you have very low volume pronating feet.
So I was delighted that my loyalty to your shop was returned with respectful service of getting the right shoe.
I wore the shoe around the house last night and they seem great; I took a run this morning and they are perfect.
I try to shop locally whenever possible and when you add service where people know me (they greet me by name when I come in) and people that really care about getting the right fit.....it's why I just keep coming back.
Please extend my heartfelt thanks to all your service crew; they are superior.
I have a triathlon and 1/2 marathon in the next 6 weeks and this was the time to have the perfect sneaker. Thanks for making it work.

Another Happy Customer- “Ted’s Shoe & Sport is the truth. When my new snowboard was damaged by the carrier, Ted hooked up a replacement in a hurry. I was headin’ out west so they even arranged to ship it overnight to my hotel...AND upgraded my original purchase for the trouble. It arrived just in time for epic powder days!” Dax P, Michigan

Faithful to TEDS- Ted and staff - I have a comment and a confession to make.... My son got a $50 gift card from _ _ _ _'s from a friend for Christmas. He needed new sneakers so we went there on
Monday to purchase the sneakers - thought that by using the gift card I could save myself a couple of bucks. A decision I
Definitely regret!
We always buy our sneakers at Ted's and now more than ever appreciate the service. The sales person walked up and asked him which sneaker and what size. My son said he needed to be sized because he grows everyday! Well I walked away to look around because I figured he could take care of himself! When I turned around I saw the man hand him two boxes of sneakers. I asked my son what size he fit him for. He said the clerk didn't size him - when I walked away he asked about what size he was and brought out two boxes around that size for him to try and then walked away.
I said very loud....look around because we will never walk in this store again! My son wasn't even embarrassed by his
Mom’s outburst - he said he agreed. I told him _ _ _ _'s may be big
but there wasn't anything he needed that Ted’s couldn't get for him!
So --- a true confession......from this day forward we will always remain faithful to Ted's!!!! Have a good day.

Thanks!!!!- A quick note to say thank you for the help with the Brooks Glycerin shoe! What a great shoe. I think I like them even more than my Cascadias, although I’m not sure why. Anyway, the shoe is awesome and the service was fabulous. I can’t ALWAYS buy things local, but I do try. And rest assured you’ll get plenty of word-of-mouth recommendations from this customer.

New and Loyal Customer!- Dear Ted and Staff,
On Nov. 4 I walked into your store as a potential new customer and was greeted by a very friendly no-pressure staff. A young woman(sorry, I didn't get her name) answered all of my questions about walking shoe types, etc. and fitted me with the most wonderful pair of Ryka walkers.
Nearly one month later when my son noticed a section of one shoe was missing stitching, I returned the shoes to your store and was again greeted in the most welcoming way. In one week I had a new pair of shoes!
I want to thank you for your professionalism and customer-friendly service.
A New and Loyal Customer,
Thank You!!!

Great Race!!- Dear Ted, It was a terrific race that you folks put on! You are an information source for people who want to learn about outdoor activities. You don't sell them a shoe, but you give them the information and then their feet can tell them which model to purchase. Our running community appreciates TEDS!!

A Pleasure Doing Business with TED'S- I felt compelled to share this with you: My mother and father lived in West Swanzey for 17 years. Mom has become quite ill in the last few years and Dad was her primary caregiver. Dad passed away suddenly this past August and Mom had to relocate to Massachusetts. My brother and I have now taken on the privileged role of caring for her. I noticed that her shoes had worn and asked her if she remembered where she got them (based on the fact that her shoe size is so small). Although she has dementia and has great difficulty remembering things, she immediately responded, "Ted's, in Keene." And then she proceeded to tell me how pleased she and Dad were with their "Ted's" shopping experience!! So, naturally, I had to call you again. After all, Mom can't even remember my age, yet she remembers the service your establishment provided. And she's had the shoes for at least 3 years!!

Hi There!- I just wanted to say "Thanks" for helping me find/fit these awesome shoes! I only had time to take them out for a quick "spin" tonight, but I think they're going to be great on my longer training walks! Excellent staff -- lot's a one-on-one attention (which I really liked!) Worth the drive from Nashua!
Thanks A Lot!

A Testimonial from Monadonock Covenant Church- Dear Ted and Members of the Staff,
I’d like to thank you for your good work on my behalf in preparation for this year’s Boston Marathon. I attribute a good amount of my enjoyment of the race to your efforts.
Here’s the story: Two weeks before the race I discovered that the racing shoes I’ve been wearing for a couple of years had broken down to the point of risking injury to my knees if I wore them. I was suddenly faced with the decision of buying a pair of new racers to wear in Boston, or wearing my training shoes for the race. Neither option sounded good: new shoes can take a while to “break in” and I was afraid of getting blisters in the race. My training shoes, while “broken in,” are a lot heavier, and I feared muscle fatigue in the race if I wore them.
The shoes you recommended for the race were out of stock in my size. But you placed the order immediately and turned it around in 24 hours. The shoes turned out to be perfect. They fit well. They provided the cushion I needed. I was able to sufficiently break them in prior to the race. And they performed flawlessly during the entire marathon.
Good shoes prevent hip, knee, ankle and foot problems. Good shoes “well-chosen” and “well-fit” by a knowledgeable staff prevent disasters. I not only didn’t have a disaster, I can honestly say that this was one of my most enjoyable marathons ever…due in large measure to your good work.
Thanks for the positive, friendly, expert help you gave me in my time of need, and for the service you are providing our community every day.
Respectfully,
Garth McGrath
