“What a wonderful shopping experience I had this past week with the guidance of patient, curious, and attentive sales associate, Thomas. I returned to Ted’s to purchase a new pair of walking sneakers after having purchased a pair two years ago at Ted’s that just didn’t work well for me. “The training Ted gives to his employees is extraordinary.— 300 hours of training before letting someone serve his customers. That’s unheard of anywhere but at this shoe store. This past weekend, we were very well taken care of by Jenna.

We found the store by accident when taking our child to summer camp 4 summers ago, and every year since we have looked forward to replacing and buying new sneakers when passed through Keene on the way to camp.

Jenna was exceptionally knowledgeable about not only their products and the features of them that would benefit us, but specifically in observing my wife’s gait, and finding the right sneakers to help her, accounting for the sneakers orthotics she had left home.

The training provide the staff is something we have not encountered anywhere else, and we live in NYC, where everything else you can possibly imagine is available, except this. No shoe store in the Big Apple, to my knowledge, offers the expertise that Ted’s does. We have never had a someone at a shoe store offer to stretch a pair of shoes - we did not know that this was anything available. My wife has always had extra-wide feet and often has difficulty finding shoes that fit. The idea that shoes can be stretched is something we did not know existed.

Jenna was friendly, super-knowledgeable, and worked hard to make sure all three of us left with the best shoes available in our sizes.”

She has a very hard time finding shoes that are comfortable, and her nerve endings cause her to not be able to wear socks at all.
